Use Garden Decor to Spruce up Your Garden

If you are tired of looking at your drab, bland garden, then you should consider sprucing your garden up with some garden décor.  There are many inexpensive options that you have that can make a huge difference in the way your garden looks.  Here are some examples of things that you can use for garden decoration:

Landscape Lighting: The right lighting can make your existing plants look great, even at night.  There are many options, from traditional spotlights to rock lights, solar lights, or even rope lights that can really accentuate the best aspects of your garden.

Bird Features: Bird feeders, baths, birdhouses, and similar features serve a dual purpose by looking great and also by attracting birds that are great to watch.  And if they nest in a birdhouse that you put in, you may even get to see eggs and baby hatchlings.

Water Features: Water features are a little more difficult to put in, but can add a very dramatic look to your garden.  They look great and also produce a soothing sound of water, which helps you relax.  The drawback is that water features require maintenance.

Statues and Stakes: These are among the easiest ways to decorate the garden. You simply pick them out and set them where they will look their best. If you can keep them from the feet of children and deer, they will be with you for many years. Stakes with animals such as birds, butterflies, and flamingos tend to be among the most popular. If you have children or grandchildren, they will love to look at these features.

While most of these garden decor options are more traditional, there are some more unique things now hitting the market. Look around online and you will find a wide variety of homemade, fun, and off-the-beaten path type of decorations. Whatever you are looking for, chances are that you can find something that meets your needs and tastes.
