Single shower pump is used to provide a constant flow of water in bathrooms. These shower pumps have only one driving blade and are installed between the shower and the panel, thus pumping the water to the showerhead.
Buying the right pump can be difficult because different pump manufacturing companies produce different kind of shower pumps, which vary in shape, size and design. Before you tend to buy one, make sure you consider the cost of each kind of pump separately. Most are pretty affordable; but some custom designed ones can be fairly expensive. Therefore, it is important to find a pump that fulfills your requirements within your budget.
Every pump comes with its own set of features, so you can pick the one that suits you best. Two popular features in such pumps are temperature adjustment and safety valves. Most people ensure that their pumps have these two prime requirements.
Single shower pumps are easy to install. To save money on installation you can do it on your own! You need shower pump, 15 millimeters of pipes, an isolated valve and a survey flange, a thermostat and last but not the least a plug point.
* The first step of installation is to find a place where this pump can be installed; it is advised that you install it near a cold water tank, the pump should be placed 30 meters below the cold water tank and 5 meters away from the source of hot water.
* Next thing to do is mounting the pipes vertically on the pump before connecting it to the power point. It is essential that you ensure the proper connection of the pipes.
* Now connect the hot and cold water pipes to the single shower pump. Then connect these pipes to the isolated valve to the inlet of the shower.
* Join the pump to the switchboard and then to the bathroom.
